VERO BEACH — This beautiful, Audubon Signature Sanctuary golf course is open again this year for two sessions of golf summer camp for children from ages 5-16.
Instruction by PGAA Professional Joe Kern, LPGA Professional Kim Gardner and Assistant PGA Golf Professional Nick Lagges offers juniors the opportunity to learn the basics of golf and have fun while learning.
While teaching golf etiquette and rules, the fundamentals of the golf swing, and chipping and putting, kids will enjoy lessons in native Florida wildlife who reside at Indian River Club.
Track turtles, do some bird watching, go fishing (catch and release) and more.
Afterwards, lunch and beverages are provided.
Camp is held Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The next available camps will be held during the weeks of June 19-22 and July 10-13.
From beginners to experienced golfers, all players are welcome.
