VERO BEACH — Treasure Coast Community Health, a 501 (c) 3 and provider of affordable medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare services to nearly 16,000 Indian River County residents, has received a gift of medical equipment from Duke University.
The gift was made possible by the cooperative efforts of a number of local Duke Alumni who wrote letters of support to Duke and Treasure Coast Community Health Foundation.
Completing the circle of giving, TCCH recently took an older panoramic x-ray machine out of service and donated it to Missionary Flights International, who transported it to Haiti. Although older technology from our perspective, it was eagerly awaited in Haiti.
TCCH Foundation, a supporting organization, raises funds for specialized equipment, capital programs, and patient care. The Foundation is encouraging gifts to the Women’s Healthcare Safety-Net Fund and the Pediatric Dental ToothFairy Fund.
