Shirley P. Purvis, 93, died May 23, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Ontario and lived in Vero Beach for many years.
She worked at the Abilities Resource Center of Indian River County.
She belonged to the Action Club and was active in many of its functions.
Survivors include her many friends.
A memorial service was conducted at the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Vero Beach.
Burial will be private.
