Lucy Princiotta, 96, died June 8, 2012, at VNA Hospice House.
She was born in New York City and lived in Vero Beach for 30 years, coming from New Jersey.
She worked at the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey and volunteered at the Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was a past president of the Women’s Auxiliary of UNICO National, Teaneck Chapter, raising money and contributing her time for charities.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church of Vero Beach.
She received an honorary degree from Manhattan School of Music at age 94.
Survivors include her daughters, Phyllis Mallory and Maria Sayre, both of Vero Beach; son, Joseph Princiotta, of Brick Township, N.J.; brother, Joseph Millazzo, of Vero Beach; 14 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, in 1992; a brother; and four sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Hackensack, N.J.
A Mass of the Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. June 16 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, both in Hackensack.
