SEBASTIAN — On Feb. 12, the ladies of the EL-DOEs of the Sebastian Elks Lodge #2714 made their annual visit to the Pelican Gardens Retirement Home in honor of Mother’s Day.
They came bearing gifts, flowers in vases for each resident, and a beautifully decorated cake.
As always, they played Bingo with the ladies, giving out small bags of gifts to the winners. Those who did not win received one as well.
Afterwards, a slice of cake and a beverage were served to each person attending.
Flowers were delivered from room to room to those who were not able to participate in Bingo.
It was a very fulfilling experience for all who were involved.
