VERO BEACH — The annual “Dance Space Spectacular” show will be held at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center on Saturday, June 9, at 1 & 7 p.m.
Dance styles performed will include Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Tap, and Hip Hop.
Tickets are $20 and are now on sale at the VBHS Box Office. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Andrew Currie is the owner and Master Instructor of Dance Space. As a Broadway dancer, Andrew has performed in “Cats,” “Miss Saigon,” “Starlight Express,” “La Cage Aux Folles” and other productions. He has also performed as a back-up dancer for Grace Jones and Angela Lansbury.
Over 225 students will participate in this production, from beginning rehearsals many months ago, to the end performance in June. The rehearsal process is a tremendous growth experience for students.
In addition to developing improved retention skills, they learn the benefits of working as a team. An essential element of the dance training process includes learning through performance.
The experience helps build self-esteem, self-assurance and contributes to a sense of confidence. Performance opportunities can also contribute to children’s success in non-dance activities, such as better in-school presentations and improved social skills that can enhance interview skills for future college or job opportunities.
The “Dance Space Spectacular” show offers students a professionally directed performance and allows them to present to their friends and families the result of a year’s hard work, dedication, and progress.
