Darlene Louise Ernst, 75, died June 1, 2012, at the VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born in Oak Park, Ill., and lived in Vero Beach for 14 years, coming from Steamwood, Ill.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Edwin H. Ernst, of Vero Beach; sons, Mark Leitzke, Doug Leitzke and Chris Leitzke; daughter, Vicki Arnold, all of Wisconsin; brother, Donald Jensen, of Vero Beach; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Visitation will be from 11 to 1 p.m. June 4 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home, Vero Beach, with a service at 1 p.m.
Out-of-town arrangements are by Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Services.
Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, Ill.
