Isabella Wells Hammond, 98, died May 27, 2012, at The Place at Vero Beach.
She was born in Chicago and moved to Vero Beach in 2000 from Avon Park.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Canfield, of Vero Beach; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Urbey E. Wells and Frank Hammond; and sons, Michael Wells and Timothy Wells.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice House, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A Mass will be celebrated in her name at a later date.
