Brant Weems King, 65, Vero Beach

Brant Weems King, 65, died May 20, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.

He was born in Jacksonville and lived in Vero Beach for one year, coming from Nashville, Tenn.

Before retirement, he was employed by Xerox, Zenith and Intergraph Computer, in their Nashville offices.

He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

He received his bachelor of arts in Business Administration, graduating cum laude, from Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

He was a member of Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Vero Beach and Toastmasters, Vero Beach.

Survivors include his wife, Anne M. Trainor of Vero Beach; son, Kevin Brant King of San Diego; and sister, Melinda A. Lewis of Petaluma, Calif.

Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County, P.O. Box 644, Vero Beach, FL 32961.

A service will be at 11 a.m. May 25 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Vero Beach.

Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory of Vero Beach.
