VERO BEACH — At the annual meeting of the Vero Beach Art Club on May 3, the Officers and Board of Directors for the 2012-2013 year were installed.
A luncheon was held at the Osceola Bistro with 48 additional members attending to thank outgoing President Rita Ziegler and watch the new officers and board members sworn in by current board member Marjorie Bohler.
The new officers inducted are President, Mary Ellen Koser, and Vice President, Alicia Quinn. Continuing officers were Secretary, Judy Mercer, and Treasurer, Joyce Kindel.
The new Board of Directors consists of Marjorie Bohler and Rita Ziegler, who joined current members Paul Davis, Sue Dinenno, and Sherry Wilson.
The Vero Beach Art Club is an independent non-profit organization with approximately 500 members serving the community through exhibitions, art educational programs, social meetings, and demonstrations for the public and its members.
They offer four main events: Under the Oaks Fine Art Show, Art by the Sea, Art in the Park, and the Art Trail, in addition to many smaller exhibits throughout the year.
An artist demonstration is held at each of their monthly meetings, which are open and free to the public, from October to April.
