Janet Gayle Heinze, 77, died May 18, 2012, at VNA Hospice House.
She was born in Heron, Mo., and lived in Vero Beach since 1987, coming from Wisconsin.
She owned and operated a family supermarket along with her husband, as well as a publishing company.
She attended Our Savior Lutheran Church of Vero Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Vern, of Vero Beach; daughter, Kathryn Marks, of Palm Beach Gardens; sons, Mark Heinze and Mike Heinze, both of Vero Beach; and four grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice of Indian River County, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Services will be private.
