Tracey McMorris joins Workforce Solutions as Indian River County Branch Manager

VERO BEACH —  Tracey McMorris is joining Workforce Solutions and will be leading the Indian River County operations as the Indian River County Branch Manager.

“I am prepared to take on the challenges of my new role and excited to join Workforce Solutions,” Indian River County Branch Manager for Workforce Solutions Tracey McMorris said. “I’m committed to excellence. Combined with my management experience and community relationships, I am confident the Indian River County branch will continue to perform at a high rate of success.”

Workforce Solutions serves the workforce development needs of Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, and St. Lucie Counties. Under President/CEO Richard Stetson’s leadership, Workforce Solutions has been recognized in the top ten of the Governor’s Monthly Job Placement report for the last three months.

Stetson has made necessary changes to the organization in order to reach this level of success. He sees regionalization or a synergistic approach to delivery of services as the key to maintaining this success.

“Tracey brings extensive management experience to Workforce Solutions,” President/CEO of Workforce Solutions Richard Stetson said. “I expect her perspective will enhance our efforts.”

McMorris is replacing Marcelo Dossantos, who has been the Indian River County Branch Manager since 2009. Dossantos will be transitioning to his new role as the Business Services Regional Team Director in June.

McMorris held positions of increasing responsibility while at Enterprise Rent A Car for almost ten years, including Branch Manager in various U.S. cities. Prior to joining Workforce Solutions, McMorris was an Office Manager for almost four years at Girard Equipment, Inc. in Vero Beach.

Originally from Brentwood, New York, McMorris received her Bachelor Degree in Mathematics from Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi.
