Howard Goodrich Law Jr., 95, died May 14, 2012, at Oak Harbor.
He was born in New York City and grew up in Leonia, N.J.
He worked for the Federal Aviation Association and practiced law in New York for several decades.
He served as a naval pilot in World War II and retired as a reserve captain.
He graduated from Columbia University in 1938 and Columbia Law School in 1941.
He was a member of the Quiet Birds social association.
He was president of the Englewood Field Club in New Jersey, Knickerbocker Country Club, The Moorings and Oak Harbor.
Survivors include his wife of more than 67 years, Sally Brooke Parchert Law; son, Howard Goodrich Law III; daughter, Susan Brooke Law Dake; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. May 18 at Trinity Episcopal Church Chapel, Vero Beach.
