What can I say, I like well thought out apps that are user friendly.
One of my facebook friends turned me on to the Wood Camera App, http://www.woodc.am/
For $1.99 this app is a steal. It is incredibly streamlined with more options to unleash your creativity than you could use in a day.
It is only available to the iPhone currently. Not having an iPhone I tried it out on my iPad, so I’ve included photos from around home.
For me, it was nice to have basic functions I use every day in Photoshop, general lightening of images/contrast/saturation.
Also, if you like filters (lenses) it has 22.
Other features include tilt-Shift and vignettes.
And what’s a phone app without the ability to share? You can push your images to facebook, twitter, Instagram, Flickr, and email. Photographers can also save the edited versions to their device.
Blogger’s note: This app was gifted to me for this review. Rest assured, if it was a crappy app I’d let you know. As one publisher put it, “if my reporters can be bought for a chicken dinner they shouldn’t be in my newsroom.”
