Mack G. Ficke, 86, died April 30, 2012, at the VNA/Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Elmwood Place, Ohio, and lived in Sebastian for 26 years, coming from Dayton, Ohio.
He was a paramedic for the Dayton Fire Department in Dayton.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
He was a member of Sebastian United Methodist Church in Sebastian.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Jeanne Werline Ficke, of Sebastian; daughter, Barbara Brown, of Sebastian; brother, Albert Ficke; sister, Shirley Ficke, both of Cincinnati; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sebastian United Methodist Church, 1029 Main St., Vero Beach, FL 32958.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. May 4 at Strunk Funeral Home in Sebastian.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. May 5 at Sebastian United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Jones, officiating.
Burial will be in Sebastian Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Sebastian Area Veterans’ Honor Guard.
