Raymond John Oshier, 95, died April 24, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Louisville, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 36 years, coming from Black River, N.Y. He served in the Navy on board the A.E. Anderson during World War II.
He was of the Episcopal faith.
He was a member of Antique Club of Vero Beach and AARP.
Survivors include his son, James Oshier, of Brooksville; daughter, JoAnne Clarke, of Sebastian; five grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Edna Oshier, in 2006, and one grandson.

A memorial service will be at a later date.
