Thomas Charles Fay, 90, Vero Beach

Thomas Charles Fay, 90, died April 23, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Philadelphia and lived in Vero Beach for 48 years, coming from New Jersey.

Before retirement, he was a salesman for Jack’s Cookies and Archway Cookies.

He served in the Army as a medic during World War II in the European Theater.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Elks, Moose Lodge and the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Esther; daughter, Janet Maiese, of Washington Township, N.J.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Jean Young and Margaret Hume.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice House at 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

No services are planned at this time.
