“The mission of the Haiti Clinic is to provide health care to the residents of Cite Soleil, and at the same time to educate them so that they can eventually run the clinic themselves. This fundraiser will help provide medications and medical supplies, as well as help us continue to employ a Haitian staff to run the clinic during the time when doctors and staff are not there from the U.S.,” Dustinn Keeling, chair of the event, said.
Haiti Clinic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving healthcare in the impoverished nation of Haiti. The organization’s aim is to provide the resources necessary to utilize the vast knowledge and abilities of healthcare practitioners and other volunteers to impact the lives of some of the poorest people in the Western Hemisphere.
This includes access to medications and physicians, basic necessities such as clean water and adequate nutrition, as well as education and sanitation. All of the proceeds will go directly to the Haiti Clinic.
