Gary Francis Bowdren, 82, died April 4, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Mineola, N.Y., and came to Sebastian in 1992.
He served in the Army in the Korean War.
He worked for Long Island Lighting Co. as an industrial painter for 30 years before retiring.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Elena; son, Frank, of New York; daughters, Marie Bowdren, of Vero Beach and Jeanette Vega, of Largo; brother, George Bowdren; sister, Patricia Jerkins; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m., April 9 at Fountainhead Funeral Home, Palm Bay.
