Fellsmere celebrates 101 years with Fellsmere Day Saturday

FELLSMERE — The City of Fellsmere will celebrate 101 years during its annual Fellsmere Day festivities, which starts with a pancake breakfast and ends with the Little Miss/Mr. Fellsmere Pageant and live entertainment.

The free community event will be held at the corner of County Road 512 and South Orange Street on the grounds of Fellsmere City Hall.

Festivities include a parade through town, a bed race, a Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby race, dancing and more entertainment.

Schedule of Events:

  • 7 to 11 a.m. – Fellsmere Boys & Girls Club Pancake Breakfast (Community Center– 56 N. Broadway St.)
  • 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. – Food, Craft & Informational Booths, Live Entertainment
  • 10:30 a.m. – Flag Raising Ceremony
  • 11 a.m. – Fellsmere Day Parade Starts
  • Noon – Bedrace
  • 12:45 p.m. – Fellsmere Boys Scouts Pinewood Derby Race
  • 12:45 p.m. – Grand Marshall (Ruth Stanbridge)
  • 1:15 p.m. – Belly Dancers
  • 1:30-3:30 p.m.- “Sho Nuff” Band
  • 2:30 p.m. – Our Lady of Guadalupe Dancers
  • 3:30 p.m. – Little Miss/Mr. Fellsmere Pageant
  • 4 to 6 p.m. – Grupo “Descarga de Nuevo Leon”
