Sebastian River Medical Center celebrates opening of cath lab April 4

SEBASTIAN — Sebastian River Medical Center will host a grand opening of its new cardiac catheterization lab on Wednesday April 4 from 5-7 p.m. The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours and free refreshments.

Under the direction of Medical Director Dr. Charles Croft, SRMC’s cardiology team will provide a full range of interventional cardiology services in nearly 5,000 square feet of new and renovated space. The cardiac catheterization lab will enable SRMC to perform procedures quickly, providing the best care, close to home.

Capabilities will include the following cardiology services:

  • Heart health and disease prevention
  • Treatment of heart disease
  • Heart catheterization
  • Angioplasty and stents
  • Aortic surgery and minimally invasive stents for aneurysms
  • Heart rhythm treatments
  • Pacemakers/defibrillators
