INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Seacoast National Bank is continuing its legacy of support for the Samaritan Center’s 19th Annual “Home Is Where the Heart Is” celebration, which was held at Holy Cross Parish Hall to honor Honoring Pastor Jack Diehl III and his wife, Karen, on Feb. 16. In addition, Seacoast staff worked with residents to provide classes in financial planning and help them set up savings accounts.
“As a community bank, Seacoast has supported the Samaritan Center for over a decade because it is an organization that is aligned with our core values of investing in our community,” said Cyn DeLee Dalton, Senior Vice-President, Regional Retail Manager/Indian River County. “They restore hope and dignity for homeless families. We have not only provided continuous financial support over the years, but our employees also volunteer at the center, providing financial management classes as well.”
The Samaritan Center is an interfaith non-profit organization providing shelter and support for homeless families of Indian River County. Families enter a 12-18 month program to develop a permanent solution to their homeless situation. Samaritan Center provides housing, employment, counseling, financial management, job training, transportation, liaison with other agencies, parenting classes and case management services to residents living at the center.
