Patricia Ann Sommers died March 19, 2012, at the Sebastian River Medical Center.
She was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and was a winter resident of Pelican Pointe, Sebastian, coming from Plattsburgh, N.Y.
Before retirement, she worked five years as a dental hygienist in the middle school systems in Plattsburgh and for 20 years for Dr. John Boule in Plattsburgh.
She served on the board of the Clinton County Children’s Home, ARC Resident Committee, Interfaith Food Shelf Committee and was a deacon in the Presbyterian Church in Plattsburgh.
Survivors include her husband, John; six children; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be April 14 at the First Presbyterian Church of Plattsburgh.
