VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach High School Concert, Symphonic and Jazz Bands will perform “American Images: the 19th Annual Red, White & Blue Concerts” on Sunday, March 25, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Monday, March 26, at 7 p.m. in the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center.
With music of Irving Berlin, John Philip Sousa, and a special tribute to Tommy Dorsey, it is the patriotic event of the year. Some tunes heard will include The Liberty Bell, In the Mood, of course, the traditional Marches of the Armed Forces, and Stars and Stripes Forever.
The performances include over 200 award winning Indian River county student musicians led by Mr. James Sammons and Mr. Page Howell. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local veterans charities.
General Admission seating is $12 per person. Veterans tickets are $6 each.
