VERO BEACH — The Brown University Alumni Club of the Treasure Coast will host a dinner meeting at the Moorings Club in Vero Beach on March 19. Alums from Melbourne to Stuart will gather with spouses and invited guests.
The speaker will be Jill Schlessinger, highly intelligent, creative and witty journalist and author, and Editor at Large for CBS Money Watch. Articles will include “Fat Cat Bankers in a Fog”, “Is the Stock Market Really Tired?” and “Tiger Woods: The $60 Million Dollar Man of Shame.”
Cocktails (cash bar) will be served at 5:30 p.m. with hors d’oevres. Dinner will be served at about 6:30 p.m., followed by the speaker. Invitations have gone out to all on the Club’s mailing list.
Cost for the evening will be $40 for dues-paying members, $50 for all others.
