Wilf L. Wood, 89, died Feb. 26, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in New York City and was a local resident for 25 years, coming from Cromwell, Conn.
He was employed as a claims manager for the Hartford Insurance Co.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Gloria Wood, of Vero Beach; daughter, Marcia Wood Reitz, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; sons, Wilf L. Wood Jr., of Vero Beach and Anthony J. Wood, of Portland, Conn.; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Loetterle.

A memorial service will be at a later date.
