The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is an organization like no other. When you support the Foundation, you can make a difference in the lives of people with this disease today. Dramatic improvements in the length and quality of life for people with CF are the direct result of the Foundation’s investments in quality care and research.

In the 1950s, few children with cystic fibrosis lived to attend elementary school. Today, many people with the disease can expect to live into their 30s, 40s and beyond.

On Jan. 31, CFF made the news…”Today marks an important milestone in our journey to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis,” said Robert J. Beall, Ph.D., president and CEO of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. “Kalydeco addresses the underlying cause of CF, and the science behind the drug has opened exciting new doors to research and development that may eventually lead to additional therapies that will benefit more people living with CF.”

The CF Foundation played a significant role in the research and development of this groundbreaking new drug.
