VERO BEACH — A two-day Stomping the Divots Charity Polo Event to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will take place in Vero Beach Friday and Saturday, March 2 and 3.
The Village Shops at 6260 A1A in Vero Beach is hosting The Wine Opener on Friday, March 2, at 6 p.m.
The night will be catered by Coco’s Village Bistro and will be offering our guests a wide selection of fine wines to taste as you stroll through retail venues and listen to live music by Mark McKee and a chance to win an elaborate gift basket from The Village Shops.
Tickets: $55 in advance; $65 at the door.
The Stomping The Divots gala is Saturday, March 3, from 3-10 p.m. at the Polo Grounds at Vero Beach, 7536 N. Polo Grounds Ln., (12th St. between 74th and 82nd Ave.), or visit our website at www.VeroBeachPolo.com.
The afternoon will start by sipping cocktails on the sidelines, while watching the thundering horses and their agile riders as they play a traditional game of polo.
Organizers are honored to announce that local celebrity and professional polo players will be joining this year; Peter Blake, John Walsh and his son, Hayden, Peter and Tiffany Busch, George Kahle, Craig Fraser and Max Secunda.
Guests will participate in traditional stomping of the divots at halftime and have a chance to enter the “Fabulous Hat Contest” hosted by Blondies On Ocean.

At 5:30 p.m., guests will experience a fabulous night of fine dining provided by Arthur’s Catering, live music and dancing by Elite Showband, and the opportunity to bid on unique items and packages during our signature live and silent auctions.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is an organization like no other. When you support the Foundation, you can make a difference in the lives of people with this disease today.
