Doris M. Heffelbower died Feb. 22, 2012, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born in Toledo, Ohio, and lived in Sebastian for 20 years, coming from Broward County.
She was a member of several cancer support groups in the Sebastian and Vero Beach area.
Survivors include her son, Don Heffelbower, of Bridgeport, Conn.; daughter, Debbie Roberts, of Partlow, Va.; brother, Leonard Ball, of Toledo; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, James Daniel Heffelbower.

No services are planned.
