Michael Edwin Burford, 64, died Feb. 13, 2012, in Vero Beach.
He was born in Independence, Miss., and lived in Vero Beach for 25 years, coming from Sarasota.
He served in the Marine Corps.
He was a member of Unity Church in Sarasota and All Saints Episcopal Church in Jensen Beach.
He worked as a respiratory therapist for local area hospitals for over 40 years.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, MariJo Burford, of Vero Beach; daughters, Kristin Bodnar, of White City and Aimee Schubert, of Port St. Lucie; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Feb. 25 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory in Vero Beach.
