Plein Air Artists Rendezvous exhibit continues at Beneduce Realty office

VERO BEACH — For those who were unable to attend the recent first showing of “Plein Air Artists’ Rendezvous,” at the Environmental Learning Center, the exhibit will be on display at Beneduce Realty, 1930 14th Ave., Vero Beach, through Friday March 2.

The Environmental Learning Center’s 64-acre natural Florida habitat in Vero Beach served as the inspiration for the artists who spent Feb. 16, 17 and 18 capturing its beauty on canvas and in clay.

The exhibit includes beautiful one-of-a-kind works in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, clay, etc., and will feature a myriad of styles and subject matter, from plants, birds and water, to flowers, structures and hammocks, all painted on-site and representative of Florida’s tropical habitat.

A wet paint reception was held at the Environmental Learning Center Feb. 18, and now that the paint is dry, another reception will be held Friday, March 2, from 5 to 8 p.m., during the Downtown Vero Beach Gallery Stroll. Viewing hours at Beneduce Realty are Monday – Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Environmental Learning Center and the Cultural Council of Indian River County organized the events, and will receive a portion of the proceeds from the sales of artwork.

All events are free and open to the public. For further information please contact the Cultural Council at (772) 770-4857, or the Environmental Learning Center at (772) 589-5050, or visit their websites at www.Cultural-Council.org, or DiscoverELC.org.
