Joseph F. Bromberger, 86, died Feb. 16, 2012, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Winchester, Mass., and lived in Vero Beach for 23 years, coming from Weston, Mass.
He was vice president of High Voltage Engineering, Burlington, Mass., and then president of Nissan Electric, Westford, Mass.
He served in the Army Air Forces during the World War II.
He received his bachelor’s degree from McGill University in Montreal and a master’s degree from Harvard University.
He was a member of Bent Pine Golf Club in Vero Beach and a former member of Weston Country Club.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Barbara Bromberger, of Vero Beach; son, Gary Bromberger, of Raleigh, N.C.; daughter, Audrey Soderberg, of Duxbury, Mass.; and three grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be from 4 to 6 p.m. March 3 at Bent Pine Golf Club, Vero Beach.
