John Arthur Perrin, 74, died Feb. 12, 2012, at home.
He was born in Rochester, N.Y., and lived in Sebastian for 18 years, coming from Hanson, Mass.
He was a maintenance supervisor for IBEW Union Hall in Dorchester, Mass., and after retirement, he worked for Indian River Medical Center in the boiler room and at Health South Rehab Center as a maintenance worker.
He served 34 years in the Coast Guard and Reserves.
He was a 33 Degree Mason, involved in Masonic lodges in Massachusetts, Vero Beach and Sebastian.
He was a volunteer with the Sebastian Police Department for 15 years.
He was a member of the Sebastian Art Club, Craft Club of Sebastian, the American Legion Post 189 and the VFW Post 10210, both in Sebastian.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Marlene Perrin of Sebastian; son, Todd; daughters, Linda, Wendy, Lori, and Beth; brother, Bobby Perrin; sisters, Mickey Perrin and Joyce Reed; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
At the request of the family, memorial services will be at a later date.
Interment will be in Bourne, Mass.
