INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Youth Guidance Heli-Drop Ball Bash & BBQ scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11, has been postponed due to the possibility of inclement weather and instead will be held on April 21. General admission and golf ball tickets will still be available for purchase from now until April 19 at 5 p.m.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding and for your continuing support of Youth Guidance,” organizers said. “We look forward to a fantastic event on Saturday, April 21! We’ll see you there!”
The event will be held at the Vero Beach Sports Village and will include a kickball game between City of Vero Beach and Indian River County officials, a dropping of 750 numbered golf balls from a helicopter onto the field. There will also be Bono’s BBQ and live music from Crooked Creek.
