VERO BEACH — Back by popular demand, “A Tropical Night in Martinique” will be the theme of The Mental Health Association’s annual benefit to be held from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17 at Maison Martinique on Ocean Drive in Vero Beach.
Event co-chairs, Mary Lou Young and Nancy Johnson promise another extraordinary evening, with cocktails, dinner, silent auction and dancing to the exciting sounds of the award-winning show band “Solid Gold,” a South Florida standard.
Caribbean delights will be served as guests enjoy cocktails around the pool and while strolling throughout the lush landscape of the restaurant and hotel grounds. Dinner will be another delectable repast due to the combined talents of the Maison Martinique chef and Elizabeth D. Kennedy & Co.
The Grand Benefactor of the benefit is Barbara Hurley, whose continued support along with many others has helped provide more than 8,600 visits to the Walk-In Center for those seeking help with emotional and behavioral health issues last year.
Tickets are $250 per person.
