Richard Noel Allen, 64, died Jan. 24, 2012, in Chicago.
He was born in Greensburg, Pa., and lived in Sebastian for 10 years, coming from Roseboro, N.C.
He was a sales representative for J. Nichols and Associates in St. Petersburg.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Navy.
As a fourth-degree Knights of Columbus member, district deputy, past grand knight and faithful navigator, he formed St. John of the Cross 4th Degree Assembly 3297.
He also served as a Special Olympics coach; was a member of the First, Second and Third Degree Team Knights of Columbus; coordinated the Chalice Program; coordinated the Wheelchair Program for the Knights of Columbus; coordinated Council 8009 St. Sebastian Rosary for Baptism program; served as coordinator of the Knights of Columbus Clam Bake participation; and coordinated the Knights of Columbus and American Legion Fish Fry.
Survivors include his wife, Julia F. Moore, of Sebastian; daughter, Julie Ann Braddock, of Sebastian; brothers, Robert Allen, of Pittsburgh and David Allen, of Greensburg, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Allen; and parents, Oran and Gwendolynn Allen.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian with the Knights of Columbus Honor Guard standing watch.
Military honors by American Legion Post 189 will start at 6:30 p.m.
A prayer service and rosary service will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Feb. 2 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Transfer to the McCauley Funeral Home in Youngwood, Pa., will be for final services and interment at Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
