George Carlisle, 91, died Jan. 22, 2012.
He lived in Bartlett, Tenn., and was formerly of Vero Beach.
He was retired from General Motors.
He was a captain in the Army Air Forces, stationed in Italy during World War II.
He was a graduate of Anderson High School.
Survivors include his daughter, Bonnie Chambers, of Kissimmee; son, David Carlisle, of Bartlett, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A private family service is planned.
