Helen Ruby, 88, died Jan. 21, 2012.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and came from Lake Villa, Ill., to Port St. Lucie, in 1976, and moved to Sebastian in 2004.
She worked as a customer service representative for American Hospital Supply.
Survivors include her son, Robert Ruby, of Fellsmere; daughter, Barbara Landt, of Fellsmere; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Frank D. Ruby; son, Frank D. Ruby III; and sisters, Eileen Arena and Loretta Kelly.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A private service will be at a later date.
Arrangements are by Yates Funeral Home and Crematory, Fort Pierce.
