Steven Thomas Warren Jehs, 28, of Sebastian and formerly of Lisle, Ill., died on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011.
He was born on May 23, 1983, was raised in Naperville, and attended Naperville North High School.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Jehs, of Lisle; his brother Matthew and his wife Kimberly Jehs, of Sebastian, and brother Gregory and his wife Jill Jehs, of Woodridge; nephews Fischer, Easton and Wesley; and his many friends who were as close as family from both Illinois and Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Wesley Jehs.
Steve loved fishing, diving and boating and was able to embrace these passions as a marine surveyor.
A celebration of Jehs’ life will be held at Captain Hiram’s on Jan. 28, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
