Regency Park invites the public to free Jazz with Pizazz concert

VERO BEACH – Regency Park, Vero Beach’s luxury senior living community, announced today that local jazz trio “SoulFege” will be performing a free concert on Sunday, Jan. 29. The concert is open to the public as well as friends and family of Regency Park residents.

Tim Smick, Executive Director of Regency Park, says, “We’re really looking forward to sharing some great music with our community. This is the kind of event that appeals to all ages and musical preferences.” The event is from 2 to 4 pm, and cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are available. Audience members who are feeling competitive can even participate in a live version of “Name That Tune.” Prizes will go to the most knowledgeable music aficionados.

SoulFege is a local jazz trio made up of some of Vero Beach’s finest musicians. The trio’s members include Dr. Ray Adams, founder of the Vero Beach Choral Society and Director of Artistic Development at Indian River Charter High School. Bass player Dave Mundy is the Instrumental Jazz teacher at the same high school, and drummer Richie Mola is also a music teacher in Palm Bay. This is Soulfege’s third appearance at Regency Park. The group is very flexible about set lists and will often have the audience determine the musical selections. Dr. Adams says, “We play at numerous local restaurants and country clubs, but we particularly enjoy the Regency Park audience because of their enthusiasm and participation.”

Regency Park is located on the east side of the intersection at Indian River Drive and 41st Avenue. Parking is free, and guests may request a tour of the community by talking to the front desk concierge. The community hosts numerous events throughout the year that are open to the public. They include wine pairing dinners, special holiday events, and educational seminars offered through Indian River State College. The next planned event following “Jazz with Pizzazz” will be a fine dining fund raiser for the Hibiscus Children’s Center in Vero Beach.
