Barbara K. Gerstell, 74, died Dec. 24, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Easton, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach for 18 years, coming from Greenwich, Conn.
She was a member of the Garden Club of Indian River County, Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughters, Daphne Ford, of La Canada, Calif., Alison Gerstell, of Darien, Conn., and Andrea Topper, of San Francisco; sister, Susan Preusse, of South Carolina; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Community Center at Sea Oaks, Vero Beach.
Interment was at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Pa.
