Sumner F. “Pete” Sharman, 85, died Jan. 2, 2012, at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.
He was born in the Queens Hospital, N.Y.
He lived in Sebastian for more than 30 years, coming from Perkasie, Pa., and Jupiter.
Before retirement, he was in marketing and sales.
He was a member of St. Augustine Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his sons, Scott, of Quakertown, Pa., and Glenn and Peter, both of Sebastian; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Augustine Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 475 43rd Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32968.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
