SEBASTIAN — The Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Sebastian will launch its 13th season of Concerts in the Park this Friday from 5:30 to 8 p.m., drawing hundreds of music lovers to Riverview Park. The kick-off performance will be the Atlantic Bluegrass Band.
Each concert is presented for free to the public through the partnerships between the Chamber, the City, Oculina Bank, Waste Management and Florida Power and Light.
From Bluegrass and Oldies, to Rock and Reggae, each concert season ensures there will be at least one performance to please just about every musical taste.
To satisfy taste buds will the ears fill up to the music, there will be food and refreshments for sale by Stone Creek Pizza and Show-Stopper Specialties. And the Lions Club of Sebastian will have popcorn for sale.
During intermission, the crowd will have a chance to win giveaways from the local business community.
Concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early and bring their own seating – and blankets with the weather is expected to be chilly.
