Sally E. Reed, 99, died Jan. 6, 2012, at the Florida Baptist Retirement Center in Vero Beach.
She was born in Marquette, Mich., coming to Vero Beach in 2007 from Oakland, Calif.
Before retirement, she was administrative assistant to the dean of Public Health at the University of California at Berkeley.
She was of the Episcopal faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Jean E. Beckert, of Vero Beach; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Virta; second husband, Robert E. Reed, and sister, Sadie Wheeler.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Baptist Retirement Center Memorial Fund, 1006 33rd St., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Interment will be in Sunset View Cemetery in El Cerrito, Calif.
