John P. Mangino, 83, died Jan. 3, 2012, at Sebastian River Medical Center.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Sebastian for 18 years, coming from Melbourne.
Before retirement, he worked for the New York City Transit Authority for 30 years.
He served in the Army during the Korean conflict. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Joanne Kaufman Mangino; stepdaughter, Lynn Bryan; brother, Michael Mangino; sisters, Marie Ruland, Penny DeMainto and Julie Eck; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. with a service at 2 p.m. Jan. 7 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
