Start off the New Year with the 3-D First Friday Gallery Stroll

VERO BEACH — Start the New Year out by strolling in the 3-D Downtown Dine and Design District during the First Friday Gallery Stroll on Jan. 6 from 5 to 8 p.m.

See artists demonstrating their artwork and view the special exhibits at the nine galleries on 14th Avenue in Historic Downtown Vero Beach. The event is free and open to the public.

Information cards listing the dates and locations of participating art galleries are available at the galleries and many of the other businesses in the 3D District and beyond.

—- Tropic Art and Frame presents Sunrises & Sunsets, a juried exhibition to benefit Sun UP of Indian River County.

Darby Fine Art will showcase Wood Turned Art by Russell Dale Schmidt and Contemporary Photography by Mel Theobald with a reception, Friday, Jan 6, an Artist Talk Saturday, Jan 7, and lecture demo on “Aspects of Image Development” on Saturday, Jan 14.

Gallery 14 presents Our Beautiful Ocean exhibit Last Call reception celebrating the wonders of the sea to benefit Florida Atlantic University’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute.
