Theodore J. Palaske, 97, died Dec. 26, 2011, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Chicago, coming to North Hutchinson Island over 20 years ago from Miami.
He served in the Navy in World War II.
Before retiring, he worked for AIRCO Air Conditioning and Heating Co. in Miami.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Jeanne Palaske; son, Theodore M. Palaske of Kingsport, Tenn.; daughter, Kathleen Wilber of Chapel Hill, N.C; brothers, Dan Palaske of Boca Raton, George Palaske of Wellington and Phil Palaske of California; sisters, Bernice Pape of Antioch, Ill., Alice Podboy of Waukegan, Ill., and Frances Koukol of Burlington, Wis.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Palaske.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Services: A memorial service will take place at a later date.
