VERO BEACH — Gallery 14 presents a ‘Last Call’ reception on Friday, Jan. 6 from 5 to 8 p.m., for “Our Beautiful Ocean” – an invitational exhibit featuring artists from varying parts of Florida and beyond, who depict the ocean, sea life and coastal marine life in their work. The exhibit, which will run through Jan. 7, is a benefit with proceeds going to FAU’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute.
The reception will feature wine sponsored by Melissa Mittag, ABR & Barbara du Pont – Treasure Coast Sotheby’s International Realty. Also, “White Pelicans” an oil painting by artist Barbara Landry, will be raffled during the festivities. Raffle tickets, at $25 for five, may be purchased at the Gallery. The evening coincides with the first Friday Gallery Stroll in the (3-D) Downtown, Dine and Design District of Vero Beach, the “Art Destination of the Treasure Coast.”
Also featured: work in oil, acrylic, watercolor, graphite, collage, pastel, mixed media, jewelry and photography by partner artists Edgardo Abello, Lila Blakeslee, Barbara du Pont, Mary Ann Hall, Virginia Knapp, Barbara Landry, Deborah Morrell Polackwich, Dorothy Napp Schindel and represented artists: Minakshi De, Francis Mesaros, Carol Staub, Carole Keller and Viola Pace Knudsen.
