Emma Susanne Stewart, 10, died Thursday Dec. 22 2011.
Emma was born Oct. 1, 2001, in Vero Beach and lived in Sebastian all her life.
She was in 4th grade at The Willow School in Vero Beach.
She was a member of the Treasure Coast Dive Team, and received the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence in 2011.
Survivors include her parents Kermit Michael and Ava Lynn Wilson- Stewart, of Sebastian; grandmother Carol Wilson, of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.; grandfather Ralph Stewart, of Williamsburg, Ky.; uncle Steve and aunt Kim Stewart; cousin Whitney; uncle Thomas M. Wilson; cousins Miles and Sam; uncle Bryan and aunt Julie Webb; cousins Lily and George; uncle Bruce Pylant and aunt Andra; cousins Kristin, Jessica, and Morgan; and aunt Amy Stewart.
Emma was predeceased by her half brother Whit Keenan Lyon-Stewart, her aunt Susan Wilson, her grandmother Patricia Snyder, and her grandfather Thomas A. Wilson.
