Barbara K. Gerstell, 74, died Dec. 24, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Easton, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach for 18 years, coming from Greenwich, Conn.
She was an active member of the Garden Club of Indian River County, Vero Beach, and also an avid bridge player at the Vero Beach Bridge Center.
Survivors include her daughters, Daphne Ford, of La Canada, Calif., Alison Gerstell, of Darien, Conn., and Andrea Topper, of San Francisco; sister, Susan Preusse, of South Carolina; and four grandchildren.

Services and interment will be at the convenience of the family at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Pa.
